Figo petrol, the 1.2 Dragon. Great car, the good fuel efficiency of 19kmpl on highways, a couple of times 20kmpl. In the city it’s bad. 11-12kmpl. But then the driving comfort, dynamics, power is too good.
Latest Update: Ford has updated the Figo to meet the upcoming BS6 emission norms.
Ford Figo Prices & Variants: Ford offers the Figo with BS6 petrol and diesel engines. It is available in four petrol-powered variants: Ambiente, Trend, Titanium, and Titanium BLU, priced between Rs 5.39 lakh and Rs 6.95 lakh. The BS6 Figo diesel is offered in three variants: Trend, Titanium, and Titanium BLU, which are priced from Rs 6.86 lakh to Rs 7.85 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
Ford Figo Engine, Transmission and Mileage: The Figo gets Ford’s latest BS6-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine churning out 96PS of power and 119Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed MT. The 1.5-litre diesel engine has also been updated to be BS6 compliant as it will power the Aspire and EcoSport models as well. It continues to produce 100PS and 215Nm with a 5-speed MT. The Figo’s mileage has gone down with the BS6 updates, from 20.4kmpl to 18.5kmpl and from 25.5kmpl to 24.4kmpl for the petrol and diesel variants respectively. It misses out on an automatic option for now.
Ford Figo Features: The BS6 Figo now gets up to six airbags, Ford Pass connected car tech, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IRVM, and push-button start/stop. It also gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and sporty cosmetics in the top-spec Titanium Blu variant.
Ford Figo Rivals: It continues to go up against the MARUTI SUZUKI, SWIFT, HYUNDAI GRND i10 NIOS, and the RENAULT TRIBBER.
